I did what you suggested in the video and searched in and around my feeder. Wow, I found a matching set of sheds and a single. I'm sure glad you told me to search around the feeder too. Soon after I found another matched set of buck sheds in my Shed Hunter. One 5ft from the feeder and the other in the feeder. This was a great birthday gift this season. It was mid March 2002. Garrett, age 12 & Jonas, age 14 were heading toward their feeding area to check for sheds from the night before. Jonas saw a buck deer approaching the Shed Hunter feeeders. They quickly tucked themselves into some nearby bushes. Hidden only 15 yds downwind the two youngsters got a show they'd never forget. The buck enjoyed a great meal and shed his left antler right in the Shed Hunter feeder. "We got plenty of sheds with our Shed Hunter feeder this year, but we never saw one drop right in front of us, it was awesome". They were determined to get a buck shedding on video. That evening the yougsters set up to video tape and scout. Using their Sony camcorder with night vision and some help from a nearby porch light the group was ready to go. Deer came and went. Two bigger bucks started to spar. Fighting is a common scene at our feeders. The one deer feeders force fighting (Year before had a big buck shed during a fight 1 yd from feeders on video). Bucks and does frequented the site all night. "Even if we didn't catch a buck shedding the action and scouting information was awesome" After midnight as they took turns with the video camera a group of several more deer came to feed, four were bucks. Two of the bucks had already shed one side of their rack. This was a great oppurtunity to get our video. Within a few minutes they had their video. They collected both sheds from both the young bucks. One was caught on video. It was March 17, 2001. "Your system of collecting sheds has added time to our seasons and fun throughout the year.
